Ron Quinn built Housing Transitions into what it is today, for nearly 29 years. He took the lead as Executive Director in 1987 and moved operations of Centre House emergency shelter from a three bedroom apartment to the home where it is located today at 217 East Nittany Avenue. He is the foundation, the rock, the has supported the organization and helped it grow into the continuum of connected services and programs that guides clients in crisis each step of the way, toward a more stable future.
On June 22, 2016 former board members, staff, and members of the community came together to celebrate Ron's achievement's and to congratulate him on his retirement. The new Centre House green space was dedicated as "Ron's Place" in his honor.
