Tastes & Treasures is a unique fundraising event for Housing Transitions and our Centre House shelter program. It features unique tastes from local caterers who prepare samples of their delicious food. Past participants have included Paul's Provisions, Brown Dog Catering, Village Eatinghouse, and Edible Arrangements. In addition, guests had an opportunity to pair their foods with wine tasting from Seven Mountains Wine Cellars. The treasures are brought from home as guests are invited to bring along an antique to be appraised by Roger Snyder of Apple Hill Antiques in "Antique Road Show" style. In the last couple of years, Tammy Miller of Tammy Miller Auctions has provided a lively live auction of new items donated by local businesses. Each year, Richard Wylie has entertained us throughout the event with his beautiful guitar music. In 2018, the event will not be held in preparation for our Boots, Band & Barn signature event happening on October 6. Stay tuned in the spring of 2019 for details of future Tastes & Treasures.
